With a B.A. in Psychology and over eight years of experience in the legal field, Leanne possesses a unique ability to help clients who are suffering from the stress of injury, divorce or litigation. “My college education in the field of psychology has enhanced my ability to understand the stresses that many of our clients are going through,” Smith said. ”This understanding helps me to ensure that their needs are better addressed,” she said.

Two years ago, Leanne graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. “It was certainly a challenge to work as a legal assistant while also attending college. It required me to very carefully balance my schedule,” she said. In the end, Leanne’s efforts paid off, graduating from college with outstanding grades while also maintaining her tremendous measure of professionalism in the workplace.
Smith’s responsibilities in the law firm continue to expand. ”Detail is so important in this job,” Smith said. “The attorneys and staff of this law firm pay close attention to detail, and I think that’s what sets us apart,” she added.
